Rhonda Landreth – Board Chairman
My family and I have lived in Northwest Arkansas for the past seven years. I have been married to my husband, Eddie, for fourteen years and we have two children, Michael and Sierra. We have been members at New Hope Fellowship church for the last five years.
I received my Associates or Arts degree in Education from Three Rivers College in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. I continued my education at Oklahoma Wesleyan University in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, majoring in Human Resource Management and Business Administration.
I began my career life as a Regional Marketing director for a medical helicopter company. After working in the “medical” industry for about five years, I became the Business Director for a privately owned Helicopter Charter and Tour company.
In 2011, I left the corporate sector and accepted a position as the Preschool & Children’s director at New Hope Fellowship church. Although I gained some great experience in the corporate realm, I definitely feel as though God’s plan for my life is and most likely always has been to be in ministry. In 2002, my husband and I felt God calling us to a life of missions. Since that time, we have attended and lead several short-term mission trips to Africa, India, Peru and Mexico.
In 2010, I had the privilege of sitting on a committee whose purpose was to develop a Rescue Mission in Springdale, Arkansas. On July 6, 2011, that dream became a reality when we opened the House of Hope. I am currently serving as the board chairman for the House of Hope. It is my prayer that we will be able reach out to our surrounding community with God’s love by providing a safe place of refuge.
“And the King will say, I tell you the truth, whatever you did for the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!” Matthew 25:40
I moved from Missouri to Northwest Arkansas in June of 1973. My wife, Reta, and I have lived in Springdale the entire time. We raised a family here and now have grandchildren here.
I started a successful second career in real estate after retiring as a Federal employee of 28 ½ years of service. I have been a realtor for the past 7 years and currently work at RE/MAX Associates in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
My family and I are Northwest Arkansas natives. My husband, Adam, and our daughter, Addison, are Springdale residents. We enjoy being outdoors, gatherings with friends and family, our time at New Hope Fellowship, and working in the community. As a lifelong resident I see the continued need for community outreach, especially as the population continues to grow within our community. The House of Hope is one area in which I have been able to give back to this community that has provided me with so many opportunities.
I graduated Springdale High School and then went on to pursue a Biological Engineering degree at the University of Arkansas Fayetteville. Following completion of my degree I began work with Walmart in the Environmental, Health and Safety field. I continued to pursue education and attended John Brown University to obtain a Masters in Business Administration with an emphasis in Leadership and Ethics. I continue to work for Walmart and have held a range of positions. Currently, I am a Senior Manager in the Global Governance division where I focus on domestic compliance within the field of storm water.
I have lived in the Northwest Arkansas area my entire life, and currently reside in Springdale. I have been married to my husband, Daniel, for 2 years. We enjoy spending time at the lake, having fun with family and friends, and working in our yard.
I received my B.S.B.A in Accounting from the University of Arkansas Fayetteville. After graduation, I continued on with my career at Tyson Foods, Inc. where I had been an intern during my senior year of college. I have held various accounting positions at Tyson over the last 8 years. Currently, I am a Senior Accountant in the Tyson Warehousing division.
We have been members at New Hope Fellowship for the past 3 years. I have been involved in Children’s ministry, as well as Vacation Bible School Director. I feel very blessed to be a part of such loving church family and to be involved in the House of Hope rescue mission.
